This cute couple has been married for a full month already. Again, as I've said multiple times recently, where in the world does the time go?! I swear we were just hearing about these two getting engaged and now Megan's already changed her name- well at least I think she has ;). I don't know if any of you knew this but these two really liked each other before Nick went off to Texas two years ago. Nick was amazing, he is patient and kind and was always looking for ways to meet Megan's needs- regardless of what they were, even to the point of helping her with her homework. Yeah, he's a pretty cool guy. We- as in Craig and I, told Megan that if she didn't snatch up Nick, we would for sure convince him to wait around for our Mercedes... Let's face it, we're pretty convincing so we could have made it happen. But to our great delight, the two of them went ahead and tied the knot- we are just lucky his family was told about the wedding...
When Nick bought the ring, like most grooms, it started to burn a hole in his pocket which resulted in an earlier engagement proposal... After he popped the question, and the answer, of course, was 'YES' Nick decided the quickest and easiest way to tell everyone- and spread the news was to take it up with Facebook. GREAT! EASY! QUICK! It really was a fantastic solution, what could go wrong? Well guess what, Nick forgot one tiny detail, he forgot to tell his siblings he was getting married before the rest of the world found out. Yeah, you can bet he heard about that one... So when I say they were lucky to hear about the wedding, I'm somewhat serious.
The day was beautiful, and I have to say I'm SO SO grateful it wasn't a blizzard. The day was beautiful, the sun was shining, it was a touch chilly but that's to be expected for a wedding in December. I have to admit I was worried about my three littles, it was going to be a long day starting around 8:30 am and likely not ending until around 10 or 11 pm. But you know what, it ended up being absolutely beautiful! I loved spending the day with family, both immediate and extended, seeing friends from the Valley that I grew up in- I couldn't believe how many of you made the trip!
Many, and special thanks to:
