This girl seems to already be breaking the norm in her household. Her sisters came at least a week or two before their due date, this girl came two days before hers! Her sisters were night sleepers and wide-eyed during the day, Raylee is wide-eyed at night, and a sleeper by day. There is something they all have in common though, they are all beautiful, beautiful girls! I couldn't have been more excited to get Amber's text this past week announcing the birth of their anxiously awaited baby girl. Three little girls in one household is a recipe for greatness, and plenty of adventures!
If you want to get a glimpse into what heaven must feel like, spend an hour or two with a newborn baby. The tenderness, and absolute peace they bring into a room, even when they may be upset is indescribable. It’s a special experience. One of my favorite things about a newborn is their features. It sounds cliche but you really do forget how tiny they are! I love their tiny ears, their petite little fingers, perfect little lips! Innocence, that’s what they hold. A pureness that is unmatched. This little one was wonderfully perfect. Holding her was a privilege I don’t take lightly! It’s an absolute honor!
I love it when clients bring something sentimental or personal to them to include in their portraits. In this case, Amber brought these cute little booties her Grandmother had crocheted. How neat to be able to include a piece of Raylee’s Great-Grandmother!
Although we did capture a lot of beautiful images, one of my favorites is of this new little one with her daddy. She has one proud dad! It again reminded me of the uniquely special bond that can be formed between a daddy and his daughter. I’m so grateful this girl has been blessed with two amazing parents! I’m excited to watch her grow! Welcome to the world cute little one!
